Yesterday, "Understanding and Assessing Climate Change: Implications for Nebraska" was released by the lead authors Don Whilhite, Deborah J. Bathke, Robert Oblesby, and Clinton M. Rowe, professors at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The report was created to review and interpret the current scientific literature and understanding of climate change and the impact it may have on Nebraska. From the Executive Summary: "The goal of this report is to inform policy makers, natural resource managers, and the public about the state of the science on climate change, current projections for ongoing changes over the twenty-first century, current and potential future impacts, and the management and policy implications of these changes."
